These animals are carnivores that means they live almost exclusively off of meat. They tend not to be picky eaters and use many different food sources. When hunting in a pack, they often try to capture and kill deer, moose, caribou, bison, wild sheep, wild goats or musk oxen, and these large ungulates (hoofed animals) make up most of an animal’s diet. The artic wolf will often prey upon farm if within it's territory and has vulneralble livestock and young babies.
